Thorness Bay Wreck

WrecksAs you may know Garry Mcginty has the licence for us to dive the protected wreck in Thorness bay. We can confirm that a wooden masted ship is at the location . We found measuring equipment from a previous attempt to survey her. We have many pictures / video footage . Garry has been in contact with Wessex Archaeological to get the report that they submitted. It has given us more question than answers. Very exciting times Ahead. One diving pair also found another different more modern vessel nearby . We now have to determine what is from original wreck and what has been caught up in the wreckage . Any more information gratefully received . Possibly called the Neath!
